I have loved squirrels for quite some time now. I love watching them fearlessly leap from one branch to another with determination. Squirrels are a constant reminder for me to live my life out on the skinny branches as well, continually creating a life better than I can imagine possible!
If we continue to live in the comfort zone of our safe box and never venture out on the skinny branches then everything will remain the same.
I learned a long time ago that if there was an aspect of my life that I was not happy with then it was time for me to make a change and the only way to do this was to step out of my comfort zone. The further I stepped out of my safe little box, the bigger the change was. Sometimes this is easier said than done, even for me, but the more challenging it is the bigger the reward. It’s important to have a very supportive friend or coach to help you through these difficult times. I still have that support today. Even well known people like Mary Morrissey have their own support system in place because it is so important.
Other helpful tips are to write out your vision as clearly as possible and remember to keep your eyes on your goal or dream, visualize the outcome and feel the emotions it creates as if it has already happened. Continue to keep taking steps forward every day to reach that goal. Even one little step is still moving you closer to your dream. Stay in gratitude daily! Gratitude keeps our emotions elevated and helps us match our vibration with the dream we desire.
So the next time you see a squirrel jumping from branch to branch, ask yourself, what would I love? What steps can I take starting today to get me out of my comfort zone so that I can achieve the outcome I desire?
